“If I Had $1 Million” Listing: Luxury Penthouse Living in Logan

by Mark Wellborn

image

This three-bedroom, three-bath condo sits on the top level of the Logan Station project in Logan Circle. In addition to over 1,700 square feet of interior space, the unit has an amazing 600 square-foot private terrace. The listing agent tells UrbanTurf that over $200,000 worth of upgrades have been put into the unit by the current owners, a large amount of custom features considering the building was built in 2007. The unit also comes with two garage parking spaces. More info and photos below.

Wow, what a beautiful unit.  Logan Circle is probably one of the top 2-3 neighborhoods in DC location wise.  You really can walk everywhere, whether it be Chinatown or Dupont Circle.  This penthouse would be a DREAM get for anybody.

Not so fast, Simon. This is a bit off the beaten path, has a weird West Virginia screen door exit to the roof deck (pictured), and lacks the sweeping views the lower level affords. Considering it’s assessed at $809k, is a buyer really willing to cough up a 200k profit for the sellers at the asking price of $1.15 million?

Judging the unit by the assessment is misleading as it likely does not take into account the renovations.
