“If I Had $1.5 Million” Listing: Spacious Loft Penthouse in Capitol Hill
Conjuring up images of the pads that athletes or movie stars show off on MTV Cribs, this massive loft-like penthouse in the Bryan School Lofts is a fairly jaw dropping unit. Given that it is a two-bedroom condo, it is much more fitting for a wealthy bachelor (or bachelorette) than a family, but the layout will make the eventual owner happy regardless of who it is. There are 20-foot ceilings, huge windows from the property’s schoolhouse days, an enormous kitchen and living area, and a private roof terrace with views of the Capitol. Place looks incredible. Can’t afford it, but it looks incredible.
Possibly the first luxury unit featured here that I could actually see myself in, which in a way is much more painful than the rest of the luxury posts.
Wow, this place is gorgeous. I wonder what the surrounding neighborhood is like though. Looks like it’s fairly close to a Metro stop and Eastern Market.
Gorgeous patio and family room, but I just don’t care for those high-ceiling loft-style living rooms. It looks like you’re living in a restaurant downtown.
Those posts coming down into the middle of the kitchen seem pretty inconvenient. A small inconvenience but for $1.5 I’m just saying…..
This place looks incredible!
The main problem with this unit that you can’t see in the photos is the floating stairs up to the patio, they’re just begging for a drunken skull injury.
