There was a lot to like about this two-story unit on the top floor of a converted Victorian rowhouse in Adams Morgan, which went under contract within 72 hours of hitting the market and sold for about $6,000 over the original asking price. It’s bright thanks to the many windows in the open concept living and dining room. Upstairs there’s a large balcony with room for dining, lounging and grilling.

Though it mostly hasn’t been renovated, it retains classic details, like hardwood floors, and the unfinished basement and sunroom off the back offer the potential for expansion. Upstairs are two nicely-sized bedrooms and a third, smaller room.

The home has been renovated while preserving classic and quirky details, including a dumbwaiter in the dining room. Outside there’s plenty of room for entertaining, with amenities like a built-in grill and outdoor lighting. The home also has a coveted parking pad out back.
