A Curated Yelp Launches in DC

Find. Eat. Drink

Find. Eat. Drink., an app that highlights the best restaurants, bars and stores in cities around the world based on the recommendations of industry insiders, has launched in the DC area. Whereas the Yelp app gives you every restaurant, bar or Starbucks near your current location, Find. Eat. Drink only gives you those that “insiders” deem worthy of your time.

From the Find. Eat. Drink. website:

Find. Eat. Drink. is the world’s first travel guide curated by top tier chefs, sommeliers, bartenders, baristas, butchers, pitmasters and food purveyors. Our pros contribute their favorite places to eat, drink and food shop all over the globe. From hidden haunts to undiscovered watering holes, fine dining to funky dives, these insiders pass along local gems.

As of right now, there is a good curated list of 37 establishments in the DC area, but we imagine that list will grow as more DC insiders weigh in.

Is that even true? No other travel guides in the world are curated this way? I find that extremely hard to believe.

Ummmmm…...hello. Have these people heard of Zagat? This is a repackaged Zagat that tries to market itself as “selective”.

“ZAGAT.com…provides trusted and accurate restaurant ratings and curated restaurant reviews for thousands of top restaurants worldwide”
